Paw Posse was born in 2014 during the final year of my psychology degree at Saint Mary’s University. Koda (my American Eskimo) and I spent every afternoon hiking in between my classes with a few of my animal loving friends and their dogs. We met a dog walker at Long Lake that was kind enough to let us join him on walks most days. I quickly realized it was something I wanted to try for myself. Slowly I started adding one dog at a time to our pack walks and suddenly a handful of dogs were walking with us and things were going better then I could have ever imagined. Paw Posse walks quickly became the best part of my day.
10 years later it is still the best part of my day and one of those friends is still hiking by my side. It’s been an incredible journey and I can’t wait to see where it takes me. I know that animals are my passion and nobody is surprised when I tell them what I’ve chosen as my career. I’m thankful every day for all the incredible dogs that are in my life and all the amazing people I’ve met along the way. And most of all I’m thankful for Bear, my first Rottweiler and the one my logo was designed from, for being my first hiking partner and for showing me where I truly belonged.

All dog sizes are welcome on our hikes. Big or small. Your dog must be well socialized with other animals (i.e. no aggressive tendencies) and be well behaved off the leash.
Becoming a part of the Paw Posse pack will allow your pet to experience all the sights and smells of nature in a safe and fun environment while exploring all that HRM’s trails have to offer.
We provide pick up & drop off services. Updates are sent via text or email to let you know when your dog has left and arrived home from their walk. This allows your dog to enjoy hiking while you are at work.
The pee break service involves a walk around the block to allow your pet a chance to get out of the house while you're at work for some fresh air to do their business if they can't hold it all day.
Feel confident your dog is in caring hands. I am Pet First Aid Certified and an experienced dog owner and so I have a firsthand understanding of the importance of a well-balanced dog.
Many photos are captured throughout the duration of the hikes. This allows you to see for yourself the great time your pet is having.
